DIY Energy Tonic Balls

These simple snacks are packed with fuel for on the go, before your workout or even just an afternoon pick me up. We combine the power of superfoods and herbs and offer a healthy alternative to a sugar-packed energy drink or shot. The secret ingredient: our herbal adaptogen formula, Energy Tonic!

Energy Tonic is an energizing adaptogenic formula that combines some of the most widely used adaptogenic herbs to protect your body from the depleting effects of stress. Used as a daily tonic, the formula can help energize, support healthy athletic performance and boost stamina, help restore mental alertness when experiencing fatigue and enhance your experience of general health and well-being.*

Apart from it being a great ingredient in snacks like these, we like it on its own; before our morning run, at 2 pm instead of coffee, while hiking, rock climbing, or before we head out for a night on the town.

DIY Energy Tonic Balls

Makes about 20

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup dates
  • 1 cup oats
  • ½ cup cacao
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • 10 tsp Energy Tonic, featuring rhodiola, schisandra, and eleuthero which are energizing adaptogens.

Directions:

Combine everything into a food processor and blend well.

Roll into small walnut-sized balls and store in a sealed container in the fridge and use within 10 days.  

Enjoy one (?) 2-3 times a day!
